An Integrated Medical & Academic Ecosystem Built to Withstand Crisis
Gene Academy and the SudaGene Research Centre (SGRC) were established as a unified sovereign platform to bridge clinical education, practical skills, genomic research, and digital professional identity.
When conflict severely damaged academic institutions, laboratories, and physical records across Sudan in 2023, an entire generation of medical trainees, postgraduate scholars, and researchers was placed at risk of severe disruption. Rather than waiting for traditional infrastructure to slowly rebuild, our leadership consortium established a crisis-resilient digital and physical ecosystem: tracing scattered cohorts across ten countries, standardizing modular curricula, delivering hands-on wet-lab workshops in Cairo, and safeguarding academic credentials with cryptographic verification.
Mission & Core Principles
Our Mission
To provide continuous, world-class medical training, structured examination simulations, and precision genomic science to physicians, researchers, and universities — ensuring clinical competence and academic continuity across all borders.
Our Vision
To establish a sovereign, internationally recognized medical and genomic authority across the Nile Basin and the African continent, eliminating the African Genomic Gap and anchoring lifelong clinical credentials on an immutable digital ledger.
Five Core Areas of Work
Our platform operates across five interconnected pillars to support individual doctors and institutional partners alike.
Medical Education & Licensure
Preparation pathways for Sudan Medical Council (SMC), USMLE Step 1 & 2 CK, MRCS Part A & B, and OET Medical English.
Simulation & Procedural Skills
Wet-lab Basic Surgical Skills (BSS-2) and American Heart Association (AHA) certified BLS workshops at the Dokki training center.
Genomic & Molecular Research
15:5:1 mentorship pods, endemic infectious disease genomics, and research publishing in the GJMR journal.
Sovereign Credentialing & Telemetry
Cryptographic SudaPass™ verification and the locked GemIInI Points (GP) ledger reflecting verified case performance.
Institutional Enablement & Turnkey Labs
Strategic alliance with GLOMEt to supply medical faculties and teaching hospitals with turnkey simulation manikins, diagnostic testing kits, and academic continuity mandates.
Leadership Team
Governed by senior clinicians, university academicians, and operations officers.
